Francesco Galuppi

I am a postdoc (assegnista di ricerca) in the group Algebraic geometry and commutative algebra at the university of Trieste. Previously I joined the Nonlinear algebra group at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Science in Leipzig, after I obtained my PhD at the university of Ferrara.

Upcoming activities

  • On May 21th, 2021 I'll give a talk about defectivity of Segre-Veronese varieties for the Algebraic Geometry and Number Theory seminars at the University of Udine, Italy.
  • Between June 7th and June 11th I'll virtually attend the conference MEGA 2021, where Alessandro Oneto will talk about our project on defectivity of Segre-Veronese varieties.
  • In June 2021 I'll give a talk about eigenvectors of tensors at the workshop GO60, held in Levico Terme, Italy.
  • On August 18th, 2021 I'll give a talk about defectivity of Segre-Veronese varieties at the conference SIAM AG 2021, held online.
  • On August 30th and 31st, 2021 I'll give two lectures on logic and assiomatic systems during the summer school Moduli didattici, aimed at high-schoolers and organized by the university of Trieste.
